Terms of use

1. The service

Stablebook is an iOS app with which horse owners keep a care and ride record. The app is published by Rob Giesbers (below "we", "us" or "Stablebook").

2. Subscriptions

Stablebook has two subscriptions: Basic (1 horse) and Pro (up to 3 horses). Both start with a free 14 day trial giving full Pro access. You confirm the subscription before the trial begins; Apple only charges after those 14 days have passed and you have not cancelled.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can manage and cancel at any time through your Apple account settings.

Prices are set in the App Store and may vary by region. The price shown when you subscribe is the price that applies to you.

We are not a party to the payment transaction. Apple processes all payments; Apple's payment terms apply.

3. Your data

Your data is yours. We have no access to your horse data, ride data or other personal information you enter in the app, and therefore do not sell or share it. See the privacy policy for the details.

Deleting the app removes the local copy of your data. If iCloud syncing is on, the data stays in your personal CloudKit container until you delete it there.

4. Permitted use

You may use Stablebook for personal, non-commercial horse care record keeping. You may not reverse engineer the app, resell access, or use the app in breach of the law.

5. Veterinary disclaimer

Stablebook is a record keeping tool, not a medical or veterinary product. Care intervals in the app are common starting points based on usual practice; they are not veterinary advice. For worming schedules, vaccination timing, treatment decisions and health questions, always follow the advice of a qualified vet. We accept no liability for decisions based on information recorded in the app.

6. Gait detection

Ride logging estimates the gait from phone movement and GPS speed. These estimates are presented as estimates in the app. They are not exact measurements; do not base training decisions on them without checking for yourself.

7. Availability

We do our best to keep Stablebook working reliably, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may update, change or discontinue features at any time. Material changes that remove core functionality will be communicated in the app or through the update notes in the App Store.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Stablebook is provided as it is, without any warranty. We are not liable for data loss, loss of income or other indirect or consequential damage arising from use of the app.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be brought before the competent court in the Netherlands.
